Regional State Missionaries represent
the ministries and resources of the Georgia Baptist Convention. It is
their desire to assist ministers and churches to become Healthy Kingdom
Churches Empowering Kingdom Growth. Three Regional
State Missionaries are located
throughout Georgia to provide local contact with the Georgia Baptist
Convention.
Churches and associations are encouraged to contact the Regional
State Missionary in their area. It is his role to serve as an
additional channel of communication and information while rendering
specialized service as requested.
The Regional State Missionary:
- Brings the Georgia Baptist Convention into closer contact with local churches and associations on a regular basis.
- Is available to associations and churches.
- Supervises operation of the Georgia Baptist Convention regional office.
- Responds to requests for assistance and consultation by associational missionaries, ministers and staff.
The Assistant Executive Director/Vice President for Ministries
(VPM), Robert A Boswell, coordinates the work of the Regional State
