Jean A. Morgan Scholarship

• Provides financial assistance to young women, ages 18-35, to help them participate in an international or North American short-term missions endeavor.
• Applicant must be a Christian young woman who is an active member of her church and feels called to participate in a short-term missions endeavor.
• Applicant should be able to express a legitimate financial need.
• Priority is given to an applicant who has participated in Acteens, Youth on Mission, Emerging Leaders, Women on Mission, Legacy, or Camp Pinnacle summer staff.
• Applications are reviewed twice a year with deadlines of May 1 (notification by June 1) and October 1 (notification by November 1). 
• The scholarship recipient will be asked to send a brief summary of her experience to the WMU & WEM office upon completion of missions endeavor.
• If for some reason an applicant’s missions endeavor does not materialize, it is expected that the scholarship grant be returned to WMU & WEM.
