Appalachian Regional Ministries:
Appalachian Regional Ministries (ARM) is an intentional missions effort to meet the spiritual and physical needs of people living in the Appalachian region.  ARM's purpose is to mobilize Southern Baptists and their resources to provide ministries, to evangelize the lost, to assist existing churches and to start new churches in the multi-state region of Appalachia.  Georgia women are committed to making a difference in ARM in 2012!  Contact us and we will help you connect to a missions experience with ARM!  www.arministry.org

Claiming Faith – A Journey toward the Harvest
Claiming Faith is an initiative to mobilize Georgia women to prayer walk non-Christian houses of worship.  Most cities in our state have many non-Christian houses of worship, with 200 identified in the metro-Atlanta area alone!  While we love the people we know that only through prayer will the strongholds of idol worship and false religions be broken!  Will you and your women’s group commit to prayer walk a Claiming Faith location in your community for one year?
Contact Beth Ann Williams for help connecting with a Claiming Faith location at 1-800-746-4422, ext. 327.

Take a good look at your community.  What needs do you see?  How is your womens group equipped to meet those needs?  Take action today to bring hope to your own community!  Consider these ideas:

  • Teach English as a Second Language
  • Tutor a child
  • Become a foster parent
  • Take care of home projects for the elderly
  • Collect items for hygiene kits or healthy snack packs for homeless shelters
  • Host a clothing drive
