Children

Girls In Action, the WMU organization for girls ages 6-11 or grades 1-6, brings the world to the classroom as girls learn about missionaries through stories, activities, and hands-on mission projects. GA promotes personal achievement as girls work through the learning levels and broaden their worldview by instilling a concern for the nations. GA nurtures a love for missions and prepares girls to respond to God’s call in their own lives. Teacher friendly curriculum allows leaders to experience the joy of leading girls into a missions lifestyle.

Children in Action, the WMU organization for boys and girls ages 6-11 or grades 1-6, provides missions education in a co-ed setting. Boys and girls learn about missionaries and personal missions as they engage in fun activities, hear stories of exciting and faraway lands, and experience missions in their neighborhood and around the world. Children in Action gives boys and girls an opportunity to explore missions as a lifestyle and to hear and respond to God’s call in their own lives.

Royal Ambassadors (RA) is a missions discipleship organization for boys in grades 1-6. Through hands-on activities that encourage spiritual growth, games and sports, and mentoring relationships with RA leaders, RA members become a faith-based brotherhood.

New Starts: Free Curriculum for Six Months
New Starts are WMU organizations that are beginning for the first time in a church that either has never had the age-level organization/WMU leadership or has not had the organization/WMU leadership for at least two years.  A New Start may also be an additional group of the same organization that is already meeting at a church.

Are you interested in starting new missions organizations?  Download a New Start order form for 2013-2014, contact your Association WMU Director, the State WMU office or go to www.wmu.com/getstarted for more information.
