Do you ever dream of your church baptizing more people, having greater worship and Sunday School attendance? Do you long to see more people participating in the ministries of your church -- ministries like youth, children’s, men’s and women’s?
As much as you dream about the ministry of your church, God dreams about it even more. In fact, God has a vision for your church. Now a vision is a dream with a plan to make it happen. In Jeremiah 33:3 God invited us to, “Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”
The Healthy Kingdom Churches Journey is about taking God up on His offer to call upon Him in order that He might tell us great and mighty things we do not know. This Journey is deeply spiritual. It is not a “one size fits all” approach. It is a journey that will enable a pastor and his church to hear from God in order that they might find and follow God’s vision for their future.
Some time ago I was asked, “Greg, have you been around the HKC Journey enough that you can see a common thread among the church that do well with it?” After a few moments for thoughtful reflection my answer was, “Yes, those who do well with it are the ones that want to go to the next level, whatever that is for them.”
